Follower tells the story of a disaffected church member grappling with their newfound beliefs. When confronted by the abrasive nature of their religious leader, they attempt to find a community of their own. In the process, they find what it means to be a church.
This musical operates under an “open-source” philosophy. This term is typically applied to computer software (and more specifically computer code) that is freely available for redistribution and modification. In this context, it means that you are free to take the resources of this musical and do whatever you please. You can follow the story of this musical as it is originally written or you can modify the musical to fit your needs. Should songs be added? Removed? Does the script require more stage directions?
